Save the date because The Blues Brothers are coming to town!
After his release from prison, Jake (John Belushi) reunites with his brother, Elwood (Dan Aykroyd) – collectively known as the “Blues Brothers.” Jake’s first task is to save the orphanage the brothers grew up in from closing, by raising $5,000 to pay back taxes. The two are convinced they can earn the money by getting their old band back together. ABSOLUTE CULT CLASSIC!!
Commencing from 6.30pm, on the main street of The Historic Village (just up from the cinema), join us for delicious street food, our pop-up licensed bar serving some of the best local brews from The Bay of Plenty, local sweets and treats and old-skool candy, topped off with LIVE acoustic blues/roots from the one and only John Michaelz! Film commences inside the Village Cinema from 8.30pm. Now THAT’S a Saturday night for ya!
