We start this year’s free WONDER WOMEN speaker series with one of the Bay’s bright young minds, Katherine Speidell, who turns on its head the stereotype that teenagers are lacking in energy and motivation.
Katherine is passionate about the environment and human rights, completed 400 hours of voluntary community service last year in entrepreneurial training, LGBTQ rights and youth empowerment, and has just returned from an international leadership conference – and she’s only 17!
We will also be hearing from Lyon O’Neale Arnold solicitor Kathryn Esterman will speak about the exciting SheEO initiative, a new women-led seed capital fund that aims to raise half a million dollars to support female entrepreneurs.
Wonder Women is a free, quarterly speaker series hosted by Tauranga law firm Lyon O’Neale Arnold, which brings women together to be inspired, share ideas and form friendships (nibbles provided, cash bar available).
