Aroha in Action: Our Pātaka Kai is Open!

Kia ora whānau,

We have some important resources to share with our community to help ensure everyone has access to healthy kai.

Pātaka Kai (Open Pantry)

Our community Pātaka Kai is a shared resource available for all. It’s built on a simple philosophy: take what you need and leave what you can. You can find our Pātaka Kai at the Poutiri Wellness Centre, 74 Jellicoe Street, Te Puke.

Maara Kai (Vegetable Gardens)

Poutiri is offering support for whānau who want to learn how to grow and maintain their own vegetable gardens. If you’re keen to learn, our coordinator Paora Tuanau will guide you season to season.

To get started, please click here to complete a Self-Referral Form.

Support for Whānau in Need
