Mark your calendars! The beloved Rangiuru School Country Fair & Ag Day is just around the corner, promising a day of fun and a nod to our cherished rural history. Join us on Saturday, October 18th, from 11am to 3pm, with the special Lamb & Calf events kicking off earlier at 9am.

A Legacy Rooted in the Land

While Rangiuru School has been educating students since 1919, its ties to the land run even deeper, and the tradition of Ag Day is a key part of that heritage. The school prides itself on its country values, offering students hands-on learning in a wide-open space with gardens and native bush. Events like Ag Day, where children raise and train lambs, calves, or goats, connect a new generation to the agricultural traditions that built our community. It’s a day that celebrates not only the hard work of our students but also the enduring spirit of rural life in the Bay of Plenty.

A Day for the Whole Whānau

This year’s fair is set to be a fantastic day out for everyone. Bring your family and friends to enjoy:

  • Animal showcases: Admire the hard work of our students as they show off their pet lambs and calves.
  • Games and entertainment: A variety of fun-filled activities for all ages.
  • Music: Live tunes to keep the atmosphere lively.
  • Raffles: Your chance to win some great prizes.
  • Delicious food: An array of tasty treats to satisfy every craving.

Everyone is welcome to join us in celebrating this special day. We can’t wait to see you there!
