Our Work
Five registered programmes. One kaupapa. Kai resilience woven through everything we grow in Te Puke and the Bay of Plenty.
Everything we do grows from one question: what does this community actually need? Since 2011 we have built programmes, projects, and platforms — youth-led, grounded in kaupapa, and built to last.
Our work spans five strategic programmes registered with Charities Services. They are not silos: youth development connects to kai resilience, community events connect to information sharing, and creativity runs through all of it. Kai resilience is our cross-programme focus — especially through Troppo — not a sixth registered programme.

Community Activities and Engagement
Belonging is built by showing up together — crop swaps, seasonal events, whānau activities, and spaces where Te Puke people participate and contribute.
Information Sharing
Good information in the right hands changes lives. We connect people to opportunities, services, and each other — including Te Puke’s social-sector knowledge and digital tools since 2017.
Supporting Shared-Identity Communities
People belong to grower networks, cultural groups, faith communities, and creative collectives — not only to a postcode. We support those communities as umbrella, connector, and resource body.
Creative Projects that Enable Self-Expression
Creativity is kaupapa — from one of Te Puke’s first 48-hour film competitions to photography, video, and storytelling through Te Puke Digital.

Kai resilience — growing community from the ground up
Kai resilience connects youth, community, ecology, and education into one living system: food forests, crop swaps, grower networks, and practical food security in the Bay of Plenty — documented in our organisational story.
Our projects
Programmes come alive through real projects — from Troppo Tropical Urban Food Forest to OSVector.ai and the live OS//VECTOR Health Bot on godfuel.org.
