Tropical Food Growers & Food Forests Bay of Plenty

Tropical Food Growers & Food Forests Bay of Plenty

This group for those interested in food forests, kai resilience and plant diversity. It is not limited to just fruiting varieties but also plant uses such as leaves, stems and roots, ornamental diversity included, and those keen on creating unique spaces for growing tropicals, food sources, plant love, growing styles and experimentation. We are including raised beds, tunnel and greenhouse growing, hydroponic rdwc-dwc installs, indoor growing and any type of setup that in turn contributes to growing specialty and unique plant setups.

If you are growing or want a more sustainable way to live that works with nature of any size then this group is for you.
We encourage sales, swaps, encouragement and helping each other out. The group covers keen growers in the Te Puke region, including Papamoa Hills, Te Puke, Maketu, Paengaroa, Te Matai, Rangiuru, Pongakawa, Pukehina and Otamarakau.

We are not limiting people from outside of these areas and encourage anyone who has a keen interest for all things plants.

If you live in the Region or have an interest feel free to join our group https://www.facebook.com/groups/751390933751668
