Rangiuru School Country Fair & Ag Day: A Celebration of Community and Country Heritage

Mark your calendars! The beloved Rangiuru School Country Fair & Ag Day is just around the corner — a day of fun and a nod to our cherished rural history.

Join us on Saturday, 18 October, 11am–3pm, with Lamb & Calf events from 9am.

A legacy rooted in the land

Rangiuru School has educated students since 1919, with ties to the land that run even deeper. Ag Day is central to that heritage — country values, hands-on learning in open space, gardens, and native bush. Children raise and train lambs, calves, or goats, connecting a new generation to the agricultural traditions that built our community. It celebrates student effort and the enduring spirit of rural life in the Bay of Plenty.

A day for the whole whānau

This year’s fair is a fantastic day out for everyone. Bring family and friends to enjoy:

  • Animal showcases: Students showing their pet lambs and calves
  • Games and entertainment: Fun for all ages
  • Music: Live tunes all day
  • Raffles: Great prizes to be won
  • Delicious food: Tasty treats for every craving

Everyone is welcome. We cannot wait to see you there!
