We’re thrilled to announce a collaboration with Green & Wild — visionary Bahareh is joining forces with Vector Group Charitable Trust and Troppo to tell the stories of amazing gardens. We’re also excited to feature her in our upcoming edible landscapes magazine.

It’s not every day a passion project so perfectly captures the spirit of a growing movement. That’s what Bahareh has done with Green & Wild — a personal, visually stunning ode to the vibrant, untamed green spaces of New Zealand.

The spark for Green & Wild wasn’t just love for plants — it was quiet defiance. Living in a small New Zealand village, Bahareh noticed houses growing, sections shrinking, and outdoor spaces that once told a story being paved over. The connection to nature was slowly being lost.

Amid that change, she found something remarkable: people who refused to give up on their patches of paradise — nurturing, shaping, and loving their gardens into spaces full of character. Green & Wild was born to document those tales and celebrate the people behind them.

“My deepest hope is that these videos serve as a poignant reminder of what we’re losing, and more importantly, what we can still reclaim,” Bahareh shares. Her work invites us to rip up a patch of plastic lawn and reclaim wet earth, lemon blossom, and wonder.

A shared vision: collaborating with Green & Wild

At Vector Group, it’s rare to meet someone who shares our vision for a greener, more sustainable world. That’s what happened when Bahareh from Green & Wild visited our urban tropical food forest and nursery in Te Puke, Bay of Plenty.

We are now collaborating with Green & Wild to bring more of these inspiring stories to life. Her visit was a meeting of minds — two kindred spirits passionate about turning urban landscapes into lush, productive ecosystems. We couldn’t be more excited to partner with her.
