Tender: Bulk Pineapple Plants for Community Food Security

Vector Group Charitable Trust invites tenders from suppliers for the bulk purchase of pineapple plants. This initiative supports our mission to strengthen food security and kai resilience in the Te Puke community.

We are seeking a minimum of 1,000 to 5,000 healthy pineapple plants, specifically Cayenne or Queens varieties.

Tender requirements

Submissions must include:

• A detailed proposal with quantity, variety, and cost
• Origin of stock and any certifications (e.g. organic, disease-free)
• Your company’s sustainability practices
• Proposed delivery schedule and logistics to Te Puke, Bay of Plenty
• Any potential for partnership, charitable donation, or purchase at a reasonable price
• Confirmation that plants are not subject to licensing or other stipulations
